1. Agreement to Terms
Welcome to Flint! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Flint mobile application and related services operated by MOONDIVE LLC.
By creating an account, accessing, or using Flint, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to use Flint.
By creating an account, you represent and warrant that:
- • You are at least 18 years old
- • You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract
- • You are not prohibited from using the Service under applicable law
- • You have not been previously banned from Flint
3. Your Account
Account Requirements
✓ You Must:
- • Use your real name
- • Provide accurate information
- • Upload genuine photos of yourself
- • Verify your age (18+)
- • Maintain only one account
✗ You Must Not:
- • Use fake names or aliases
- • Create multiple accounts
- • Share your password
- • Allow others to access your account
- • Use another person's account
Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@flint.app if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. User Conduct
You agree to use Flint in a lawful, respectful, and appropriate manner. The following are strictly prohibited:
🚫 False or Misleading Information
Fake profiles, impersonation, photos of others, false age/identity
🚫 Inappropriate Content
Explicit sexual content, nudity, violence, hate speech, harassment, bullying
🚫 Illegal Content
Promoting illegal activities, copyrighted material, content exploiting minors (zero tolerance)
🚫 Commercial Content
Advertisements, spam, solicitations, requests for money, MLM recruitment
🚫 Harassment & Abuse
Stalking, intimidation, continued contact after being asked to stop, catfishing
🚫 Platform Manipulation
Bots, scripts, automation, scraping data, hacking, reverse engineering
5. User Content & License
Your Ownership
You retain all ownership rights to content you upload (photos, videos, bio, messages).
License Grant to Flint
To operate the Service, you grant MOONDIVE LLC and its affiliates a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable license to use, store, display, reproduce, modify, and process your content for the following purposes:
- • Display your profile to other users
- • Create and display your ProShow (automated profile video)
- • Process content for safety and security (toxicity detection, face verification)
- • Improve and personalize the Service
- • Comply with legal obligations
This license is limited to operating Flint. We do NOT use your content for advertising, sell it to third parties, or use it outside the scope of providing you dating services.
Content Removal
You can delete your photos, videos, or bio anytime. Your ProShow will be automatically regenerated when you update your profile. To permanently remove all content, delete your account.
Content Moderation
We may review and remove content that violates these Terms. We use AI-powered content moderation and human review to maintain community safety. User reports are reviewed within 24 hours.
6. ProShows (Profile Showcases)
A ProShow is how your profile appears on Sparks. It displays your video, photos, bio, hobbies, and dating preferences as an engaging slideshow that others can view. ProShows replace static, single-photo profiles with a richer way to showcase your personality.
What's in your ProShow:
- Your uploaded video
- Your profile photos
- Bio, hobbies, and dating preferences displayed as text overlays
- Optional background music you can add
By using Flint, you consent to:
- • Automatic creation of your ProShow from your uploaded content
- • Your ProShow being displayed to potential matches
- • ProShow regeneration when you update your profile
ProShows are designed for in-app viewing only. Downloading, sharing, or reposting others' ProShows outside Flint is prohibited.
7. AI Features & Wingmate Assistant
Flint uses artificial intelligence to enhance your experience, including the Wingmate AI assistant.
What Wingmate Does
- • Suggests date ideas and restaurant recommendations
- • Provides conversation starters and dating advice
- • Reviews your profile and offers improvement tips
- • Answers general dating questions
⚠️ AI Accuracy Disclaimer
Wingmate is powered by artificial intelligence and may occasionally provide inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate suggestions.
MOONDIVE LLC is NOT responsible for: AI-generated advice, suggested locations, conversation starters, or any outcomes from following AI recommendations. Always use your own judgment and discretion.
Data Processing
Conversations with Wingmate and your profile data may be processed by third-party AI providers (OpenAI). See our Privacy Policy for details on how AI handles your data.
8. Face Verification
Face verification is an optional but recommended feature that helps ensure profile authenticity.
- • Upload a selfie video
- • AI compares your video to profile photos (real-time)
- • Receive a "Verified" badge if matched
- • Your video becomes part of your ProShow
Data Storage: Your selfie video and photos remain in your profile until account deletion. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Warning: Attempting to fake face verification will result in an immediate permanent ban.
9. Matching & Communication
How Matching Works
Flint uses an AI algorithm to suggest matches based on your preferences, behavior, location, and profile completeness.
No Guarantees
We do NOT guarantee matches, match quality, that matches will respond, or specific dating outcomes. Matching depends on many factors including other users' preferences.
Communication Guidelines
- • Be respectful and appropriate
- • Don't share personal contact info immediately
- • Don't send spam or copy-paste messages
- • Stop messaging when asked
10. Safety & Moderation
Our Safety Features
- • AI Toxicity Detection: Automatic detection of abusive messages
- • Face Verification: Identity verification to prevent fakes
- • Report System: Reports reviewed within 24 hours
- • Share Your Date: Share your date plans with trusted contacts
- • Safety Quiz: Educational content about safe dating
Your Responsibility
You are responsible for your own safety. Meet in public places, tell a friend about your plans, don't share financial information, and trust your instincts. We do NOT conduct background checks on users.
11. Subscriptions & Payments
TruPass Premium
Flint offers optional premium features through TruPass subscription, including enhanced visibility, advanced filters, and unlimited swipes.
Billing
- • Payments processed through Apple App Store or Google Play
- • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled
- • Cancel anytime in your device's subscription settings
- • No refund for partial months
- • Refunds subject to Apple/Google policies
12. Termination
By You
Delete your account anytime: Settings → Account → Delete Account. Your data is permanently deleted within 7 days.
By Us
We may suspend or terminate your account for:
- • Violating these Terms or Community Guidelines
- • Illegal activity or fraud
- • Harassment or harm to other users
- • Fake profiles or scams
Appeals: If you believe your account was wrongly terminated, email legal@flint.app within 30 days. We'll respond within 15 business days.
13. Intellectual Property
The Flint name, logo, app design, matching algorithm, and all code are owned by MOONDIVE LLC. You may not copy, reproduce, or reverse engineer any part of the Service.
Copyright Claims: Email legal@flint.app with description of copyrighted work, location of infringing content, and your contact information.
14. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE:
- • Uninterrupted or error-free service
- • Security of the Service
- • Accuracy of user profiles
- • Specific match results or dating success
- • Safety of in-person meetings
We are NOT responsible for the behavior or actions of other users, accuracy of profiles, outcomes of dates, or harm caused by other users.
15. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MOONDIVE LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
- • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- • Loss of profits, data, or opportunities
- • Harm from interactions with other users
- • Service interruptions or errors
Maximum Liability: If we are found liable, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim, or $100 USD if you haven't paid anything.
16. Dispute Resolution
Informal Resolution First
Before filing a claim, contact us at legal@flint.app to describe the issue. Allow 30 days for informal resolution.
Governing Law
- • India Users: Governed by laws of India, courts in India have jurisdiction
- • US Users: Governed by Delaware law, Delaware courts have jurisdiction
- • Other Countries: Governed by US/Delaware law
Class Action Waiver
You agree to resolve disputes on an individual basis only. You waive the right to participate in class actions.
Limitation Period
You must file any claim within 1 year of the event giving rise to the claim.
17. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. When we make significant changes, we'll update the "Last Updated" date and notify you via in-app notification and email. Continued use of Flint after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
